Horiya Tekeu cannot rely on Gabriela Ruse
Gabriela Ruse will not play for the Romanian team, who has not been feeling well in recent days and has not been training at the proper level, but who meanwhile said at the press conference after the draw that she will be with the girls, with all her heart, with encouragement and moral support.
“It’s a long match, with five meetings, it’s good that a healthy Gabi is around. She is a player you rely on and we want all our players to be at their best. When you’re in a situation like that, you adapt, we looked at Ana and Jacqueline and I think we prepared this meeting as well as we could.
We take each match in turn. Tomorrow’s games are both important. Of course, it’s important how you start and how you get the crowd on your side to have that energy at the start of the match, but we’re professionals, the girls do it week in week out, they’re used to fighting until the end even when things aren’t going well. And we will do that” – Khoria Tekaucaptain of the Romanian national team, quoted by Agerpres.
