Coach Zlatko Dalic (56 years old) has announced the group of players with whom world vice-champion Croatia will play at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar (November 20 – December 18).

“We are not unreasonably optimistic, but we must also be realistic. We take turns, we have confidence, especially after the Nations League matches.

No pressure, no euphoria. The first match will be the most important. We are thinking how to finish the group in first place,” said Zlatko Dalich before presenting the list of 26 players.

Croatia played in the World Cup final for the first time four years ago, when they lost the trophy to France (2-4).

In 1998, the Croatians managed to make it to the semi-finals (they were also defeated by France with a score of 2:1).
