In a post on her personal Instagram account, Simona congratulated Holger Rooney (he won the Paris Masters after defeating Novak Djokovic in the final), but she also had nice words for Patrik Muratoglu, her current coach.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency announced on October 21 that Simona Halep has been provisionally suspended for failing a doping test at the 2022 US Open.
