The legendary Dutch and Milan player Van Basten was worried about Neymar’s behavior on the pitch.

The Brazilian is either provocative (appeals to referees or opponents), or whiny (sometimes asks for non-existent fouls), Van Basten believes.

In Ziggo Sport, the former great Dutch striker has slammed PSG star Neymar.

“I am annoyed by the behavior of PSG players, especially Neymar.

Neymar is the initiator of this bad behavior and makes others do bad things.

He should stick to football. It’s a shame, I think it’s bad for such a big team” – Marco van Basten.

“Neymar has a bad role. He is always looking for it. He’s really a moron (…) He’s a good player, but he does everything but football. He plays with the referee, with the opponent. I think it’s ugly,” added the Dutchman, quoted by News.ro.

Who is Marco van Basten?

At the age of 57, Van Basten is one of the greatest strikers in football history.

He won the Golden Ball three times (1988, 1989, 1992) and was recognized as the best player in the world by FIFA in 1992.

He won, among other things, the Champions Cup (1989, 1990) and three Italian league titles with AC Milan (1988, 1992, 1993).

In addition, he became the European champion as part of the Netherlands in 1988.
