Pablo Carreno-Busta lost to Marc-Andrea Helser at the ATP in Sofia
Spain’s Carreño-Busta, seeded No. 3 at the tournament in Bulgaria, lost after one hour and 43 minutes of play to Switzerland’s Marc-Andre Hüsler (95 ATP), score 6-3, 3-6, 6-2.
Huelser will face Poland’s Kamil Majczak (119 ATP) for a place in the semifinals.
