Federer, Nadal, Djokovic – Who is the GOAT in men’s tennis?

Federer, Nadal and Djokovic challenged each other and managed to break record after record in men’s tennis.

The BIG 3 already hold most of the records in white sports, and in recent years the main question has been: Who is the best of the three wizards?

Everyone has their own point of view depending on the player they support. Some will categorically say that Roger Federer, others that Rafael Nadal is currently leading the Grand Slam tournaments, and others that Novak Djokovic is a complete player.

Former world number one and legendary player John McEnroe says talk of the GOAT of tennis will continue quietly for at least another 10 years.

“It has to be compared to everything, I think everyone in the sport understands that. You can make an argument for any of these three legends based on the surface, the number of major tournaments they’ve won, how many other tournaments they’ve won, how many times they’ve been shut out, how consistent they’ve been.

Roger has 36 consecutive Grand Slam quarterfinals and 23 semifinals, so you can look at those stats and say that Roger is very close.

You can make an argument for either, we’ll be talking in 10 years and asking ourselves which is better” – John McEnroe for Eurosport.

In response, Björn Borg (coach of the European national team) replied: “Just 10 years?”

“Maybe 20, maybe until the end of time, unless someone does something crazy and wins five more tournaments, which seems possible at this rate. But even then, I think we will still have a debate,” he concluded McEnroe.
