After defeating Anthony Joshua in Jeddah and retaining the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts, Oleksandr Usyk returned home to Vorzel, a city near Kyiv.

Arriving at the house in Worzel, Usyk found that the letters “B” and “Z”, symbols of the invading army, were still on the fence, but the Russian occupiers had left the territory.

At the end of March, the boxer’s wife, Kateryna Usyk, reported that “Orcs” (not Russians) occupied her house.

Upon returning to Vorzel, Usyk also made a gesture of victory: he raised the Ukrainian flag on the fence of his house, Dailymail reports.
