The fan wrote in the message that the best way to end the week would be for the royal family to die on the way to the Queen’s funeral.

In another message, a fan allegedly asked if he would be kicked out of the stadium if he booed during the minute’s silence and joked that he would give a Nazi salute in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. In all messages, the fan tagged the club.

After that, the fan deleted the message.

Preston North End said in a statement that it respects freedom of expression, but in this case “a number of messages have emerged in the public domain and relate to the club”.

“In the message, which has been deleted, the acceptable limit was exceeded and the club, being associated with the message, decided to deny access to the stadium,” the English group added.

The club also informed the police about this incident.
