The match between Dynamo and Steaua started with a delay of about seven minutes due to pyrotechnic materials thrown by fans, and at half-time the “war” continued as the ultras fought with the police.

The problems started even before the game, and the ultras of the two teams turned the stands into a real battlefield.

At halftime of the game at the National Arena, footage from the star section showed ultras throwing fire extinguishers, chairs and fences at the gendarmes (they had to use tear gas to calm the spirits).

After the match, the Romanian gendarmerie published a statement clarifying what sanctions were applied after the incidents in the match between “Dynamo” and “Steaua” (League 2, sixth stage).

“After violations of the current legislation, 21 illegal sanctions were applied for a total amount of 86,750 lei, namely:

  • 12 illegal sanctions for violation of the provisions of Law No. 4/2008, on the prevention and fight against violence during sports competitions and games, with subsequent changes and additions;
  • 9 illegal sanctions for violation of the provisions of Law No. 61/1991 on sanctions for violation of norms of social coexistence, public order and peace, with subsequent changes and additions;
  • At the same time, the necessary documents were drawn up for the opening of investigations into six criminal acts, five of which are provided for by Law No. 1000. 126/1995 on the regime of explosives, with further amendments and additions, and one provided for by the Criminal Code – Ultraj.

In the same context, during the break of the match, the gendarmes intervened to disperse rival groups of fans who were creating conflict situations, causing disturbances and trying to migrate to the sectors of the stadium designated for the opposite gallery, with the aim of initiating violent confrontations. In addition, inspections are conducted to identify and bring to justice other persons who have violated the current regulatory framework.” it is stated in the press release of the gendarmerie.

“Dynamo” defeated “Steaua” at the National Arena

Dynamo Bucharest suffered their fourth defeat of the season in League 2: in the sixth stage, the team trained by Ovidiu Burke lost 2:1 to Steaua at the National Arena.

Dynamo opened Gezali’s account (’41); but Steaua won with goals from Passionel (’44) and Chipirliou (’50).

After this success, Daniel Opritzi’s team scored 13 points and rose to first place in the ranking (goal difference 10-8). Instead, “Dynamo” is in 12th place (6 points, goal difference 6-10).
