
Rebecca Diaconescu qualified for the 50m backstroke final on Saturday at the World Junior Swimming Championships in Lima, Peru.
In the Wieden Aquatic Center pool, Rebecca clocked a semi-final time of 29.24 (fourth in penultimate action).
The women’s 50m backstroke final will take place on Saturday evening at 3:29 Romanian time.
Also on Saturday, Davyd Popovichi will take part in the 100-meter freestyle swimming as part of the World Junior Swimming Championships.
