Mathis Thel scored Bayern Munich’s 5-0 German Cup victory over Viktoria Köln on Wednesday night, becoming the club’s youngest ever goalscorer.

Tel scored in the 45+1 minute of Wednesday’s match at the age of 17 years and 126 days.

Other goals were scored by Gravenberch ’35, Mane ’53, Musial ’67 and Gorecki ’82.

The previous record for the youngest scorer in the history of Bayern Munich was held by Jamal Musiali (17 years and 205 days).

The match was included in the first round of the German Cup.
