
Kostiantyn Popovici and Katalin Preda climbed to the first steps of the podium in Saturday’s RedBull Cliffdiving high jump competition from Mostar.
Gold (Popovici) and silver (Preda) medalists of the European Swimming Championships in Rome in diving Kostiantyn Popovici and Katalin Preda repeated their performance in Bosnia.
According to the Romanian Swimming and Modern Pentathlon Federation Facebook page, Popovici took first place with 481.5 points, followed by Preda with 458.7 points, and Britain’s Aidan Heslop finished third with 456.3 points.
After five stages, Catalin Preda remains in first place with 760 points, followed by Frenchman Gary Hunt, 680 points, Aidan Heslop, 646 points, and Konstantin Popovici, 609 points.
Kostiantyn Popovichi and Katalina Preda are trained by coach Florin Avasiloae.
The next stage of the RedBull Cliffdiving circuit will take place on September 11 in Sissikon (Switzerland), writes Agerpres.
