Max Verstappen (RedBull) was fastest in Formula 1 qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, but Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) will start from pole position for Sunday’s race at Spa-Francorchamps.

Carlos Sainz, pole position in the Belgian Parliament / Lewis Hamilton starts fourth

Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas and Mick Schumacher will start Sunday’s race from the last grid, as a result of changes to some of the powertrain elements in their cars.

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, finished seventh but will start the race from fourth position.
