This is the second major tournament (Grand Slam) in which Nole cannot participate in 2022 due to the fact that he was not vaccinated against Covid-19 (he was also not allowed to participate in the Australian Open in January this year).

Over time, Nole won three Grand Slams in New York: in 2011, 2015 and 2018.

US Open 2022 will be held from August 29 to September 11 at the Flashing Meadows complex.
