Norwegian football team Viking Stavanger announced on their Facebook page on Tuesday that they have sold more than 12,000 tickets for their match against FCSB in the second leg of the Europa Conference League play-offs.
Norwegian fans almost sold out tickets for the match with FCSB
With the exact number of tickets sold at 12,619, the Scandinavian club say there are less than a thousand tickets left unsold for the match that will ensure the team qualify for the competition’s groups.
Stavanger’s stadium has a capacity of 15,900, but the club has to leave some unsold seats to provide buffer zones between Viking fans and the away crowd.
Viking won 2-1 in Bucharest at the National Arena in the first leg.
The match between Viking and FCSB will take place on Thursday, August 25 at 20:00 (Romanian time) and the match will be on LiveBlog on HotNews.ro.
