
David Popovici, gold medalist in the 100m and 200m freestyle at the European Senior Swimming Championships in Rome, steps into the pool on Wednesday evening for the 400m freestyle.
Popovici will participate from 10:27 (Romanian time) in the evening. The Romanian will compete in the first series out of a total of five.
The final is scheduled for 19:53.

David Popovici won gold in the 200m freestyle on Monday at the European Swimming Championships in Rome, breaking his junior world record.
In this way, our athlete repeated the performance from Budapest (at the World Middle School Swimming Championships), when he succeeded in the distance of 100-200 m freestyle.
