
Ionela Kozmiyuk won the gold medal in women’s single rowing in the lightweight category at the European Rowing Championships in Munich. Athletes present in Germany have so far won seven medals (four gold and three bronze).

The results obtained by the Romanian crews on Saturday at the European Rowing Championships in Munich
- Ionela Kozmiyuk – gold medal in women’s single rowing, light category
- Simona Radish and Ankutsa Bodnar – gold medal in women’s double rowing and men’s four rowing competitions
- Mihai Chirutse, Ciprian Tudose, Ioan Prundianu and Florin-Marian Enake – bronze medals in the men’s four-abreast competition
- Denis Tylveska and Ioan Vrancana – a gold medal in the double frames competition;
- Marius Kozmiyuk and Sergiu Bezhan – gold medal in men’s doubles;
- Mădălina Bereş, Iuliana Buhuş, Magdalena Rusu and Amalia Bereş – bronze medal in the women’s foursome;
- Mihaice Ciganescu, Mugurel Semchuk, Stefan Berariu and Florin Lehaci – bronze medal in the men’s foursome;
- Florin Arteni, Alexandru-Cosmin Macovei, Alexandru Kyoceaua, Nika-Julian Celaru, Christi-Ilie Pirgie, Constantin Radu, Vlad Aikoboae, Constantin Adam and Adrian Munteanu – fifth place in the men’s 8+1 competition
- Andrei-Sebastian Cornea and Christian-Ionuc Coyocaru – 4th place in the final B in men’s double rowing.
Romania is participating with 11 crews and 39 athletes at the European Championships in Munich on August 11-14.
