The club has informed Ajax fan groups that it has noticed an increase in such complaints from the public, particularly children.

Team officials said not all players were willing to hand in their jerseys, and those who didn’t were booed and criticized by the public.

It was also noted that many such messages were written on cardboard that could have become a source of fire, some of which were confiscated by security on Saturday when the stadium hosted the Dutch Super Cup match between Ajax Amsterdam and PSV Eindhoven, Agerpres reports.
