DILEMMA

The crusade is a logical dilemma for every conscientious voter. In last Sunday’s elections, there were dilemmas between ND candidates. they had the character of twins and triplets, some of which were more successful than others. In Athens A, by far, the most successful was the pair of Kyriakos Pierrakakis and Fotini Pipilis, a similar union was formed by Olga Kefalogianni and Thanos Pleuris, and a few years later the duet Vasilis Kikilias – Nikitas Kaklamanis earned again. In the northern sector, the duet Ad. Georgiadis – Nikos Papathanasis led to a comfortable second election. While in Piraeus II, the union of Giorgos Vrettakos and Michalis Livanu edged Dimitris Markopoulos into third place. In the Southern Sector, the Dendia network has helped many people. At the same time there were twins with Nikos Kiranakis taking a comfortable third place, close to second Takis Theodorikakos but also fourth Vassilis Spanakis. Elected Joanna Gelestati also received crosses from the Dendia network.

As far as the Crusade and the Southern Sector are concerned, Nikos Dendias holds the undisputed record in terms of numbers, who, without counting those not yet included in the results, reached approximately 94,000 ballots. Mr. Dendia’s office believes the foreign minister is likely to reach three figures if integration reaches 100%. It’s a process that could take several more days, perhaps even after Mr. Dendias hands over the foreign ministry to his official deputy, who will almost certainly be a seasoned former diplomat. The title “first of the first” in crosses, besides, of course, the purely numerical value that it may have, also has a political content, since after June 25, as everything shows, an independent government of N.D. will be formed. . with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the all-powerful Prime Minister, much stronger than in 2019. Mr. Dendias’s relationship with Maximos Palace has not always been entirely clear in previous years, despite the fact that there was not a trace of significant friction in all the country’s strategic decisions. So it’s very interesting to see how the prime minister will use the current foreign minister after 25 June.

PLACE

The election campaign turned out to be a sport that finally suited Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Aside from the self-evident result of the election, the Prime Minister even seemed to take great pleasure in it, and it wasn’t unfair. However, until the end of June, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will continue touring, but with a greater emphasis on Northern Greece, where N.D. has succeeded – as elsewhere throughout the territory – but it is facing pressure from the right. Especially in Macedonia, the Greek solution of Kyriakos Velopoulos, as well as the newly formed Niki, which did not participate in parliament for some time, achieved high results. Therefore, in the coming weeks, we will hear the Prime Minister rehash a more national agenda, namely his government’s achievements in the areas of foreign policy and national defense.
