Elections: Demobilizations after the Crusade

“political earthquake”, which, as noted by Prime Ministercaused elections Sunday, also set off a “tsunami” that swept away in the battle of the crusade an impressive number of members of the political staff – most of them either veterans of parliamentary life or individuals who have achieved outstanding success in a turbulent memorable year of great change on the political scene – outside Parliament at this stage. Maybe even “retired”, depending on the outcome of the next election.

However, at the same time, the big wave gave some people the opportunity to achieve notable personal victories. One of the most impressive cases in the first category is that the day before yesterday, some of those who had been in parliament for the longest time did not make it to the polls:

Blue” I. Tragakis finished fourth in crosses in B’Piraeus where ND elects three deputies. Former “green”, and now SYRIZA, St. Petersburg. Tsumakas finished 11th in the South Sector of Athens, where SYRIZA received four places. “Green” with eternal continuity, oh K. Skandalidisin Athens, gave way P. Gerulano. In the 90s, too, “green”, but now with SYRIZA, he is on the sidelines P. Kurumpliswho was a candidate in the Western sector, where he was ahead in the votes Efi Ahtsioglu. There were excluded other officials who were identified with the rapid rise to power of SYRIZA and whose appearances in Parliament we are accustomed to, such as D. Vitsas, H. Kafantari, Af. Papachristopoulos (with history in Cummenow’s part).

Starting with PASOK and finally MeRA25, outside the parliament (like the whole party of Varoufakis) remained Sofia Sakorafa. In the northern sector of Athens Andr. Loverdos lost the only place in PASOK to Milena Apostolaki. In the same district, this time from SYRIZA, other losses of front-line soldiers were recorded: K. Zachariadis, P. Skurletisbut also Anna. Kavadia, G. Balafas, El. Avlonito they were excluded from elective office.

The places they had occupied for years were lost in the northern sector of Athens by Andrew. K. Skandalidis is also in Athens.

Among the oldest and most influential former ministers in SYRIZA, André failed to be elected. Xanthos and N. Filis, former Deputy Ministers T. Dritsas, T. Alexiadis and Ev. apostleor even deputy ministers such as Catherine Papanatsiou. For well-known reasons, and not just petty crusades, the former minister of governments, SYRIZA, also famously missed out on parliament. G. Katrugalos, in the northern sector of Athens. In this area, the first place for SYRIZA was won by Ev. Tsakalotosbut with a difference of only six crosses from the first doctoral candidate Athena Linou (according to the figures obtained, up to 94.38% of the integration of the crosses). On the contrary, in the camp of the winners, the minister secured the first place K. Hatzidakiswith the second Announcement. GeorgiadisAnd Niki Kerameos to complete the top three.

Among those who had the traditional “green” seal, outside of parliament were also, judging by the crosses won, officials such as Mich. Karchimakis and Mrs. Batzeli. At the current stage, the electorate also “resigned” several leaders of SYRIZA, who were generally distinguished by their intense presence (and) their parliamentary intervention. This includes, among other things, K. Zurari (from ANEL), Al. Triantafillidis, A. Vagena, N. Athanasiou, P. Skouroliakos and C. Markou – who is remembered to have been the protagonist of an episode in the plenary hall, as he was accused of vulgar behavior towards PASOK-KINAL deputies in the summer of 2020.

Impressive novelties

Other positive elements, depending on the aforementioned case of Mr. Hatzidakistake care of him N. Dendia in the southern sector of Athens and Sofia Zacharakis in East Attica, who have achieved impressive success. Finally, the affairs of the former government representative do not go unnoticed. G. Economywho stayed away from K. Karamanlis in Serres, who appeared first in the vote, and his dec. Avramopouloswho, despite the “heavy” name, finished third in his constituency.
