The President of the Republic welcomed the President of PASOK-KINAL, Nikos Androulakisafter Alexis Tsipras refused to receive a research mandate to form a government.

Associates of Mr. Androulakis have previously reported that “the investigation is vacuous and will be returned immediately” and a continuation is ordered.

Katerina Sakellaropoulou will then contact political leaders and, if it is confirmed that it is not possible to form a government that enjoys the confidence of Parliament, she will seek the formation of a government of all parties in Parliament for elections.
