The senator expressed hope that after the elections in Turkey and Greece there will be a different attitude, for the benefit of the world Robert Menendez, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations. Menendez was in New York as a guest of the Chia Federation, which honored him with the 3rd Ionian Medal of Honor.

Asked by KYPE whether after the elections in Greece and Turkey, both sides will be able to sit down at the negotiating table and resolve their differences in the new conditions, Mr. Menendez expressed the hope that “things will go better after the elections.” Undoubtedly, the Greek Prime Minister stressed that he was ready to meet with his Turkish counterpart on the condition of mutual respect, peace and security.”
