Tsipras: On Sunday the lies end, the days of justice dawn

“There are meetings where the speaker speaks, there are meetings where he speaks to the crowd, there are meetings where the crowd speaks, and today this is one of those meetings. Thessaloniki carries the message of victory, our meeting today is a demonstration of victory.”

With the above words, the President of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, Alexis Tsiprasbegan his speech at the electoral rally in Thessaloniki, which, as a result, did not take place on the rostrum of 17 TIF, as planned, but in the open space in front of the OTE tower.

“Thessaloniki is showing us victory. This clearly shows us today. On Sunday the lies end. Greece turns the page. The days of justice are coming, the days of democracy, the days of meritocracy. The days of people are beginning,” he stressed.

And he continued: “The countdown of the Mitsotakis regime has begun. The Greeks have five days left to sign the change with their vote. Change in our lives. Change with democracy and justice. And after our meeting today, I say, if he asks us, let’s not be rude. Let’s send help to collect his things from Maximos. Collect the wires of wiretapping and illegal surveillance. Because from Monday Maximos will open his doors to democracy. He will be a staff of great effort for change and justice.”

Mr. Tsipras compared the SYRIZA government to the Mitsotakis government and emphasized:

“Citizens of Thessaloniki, judge and compare,” the outgoing prime minister told us a few days ago. SW with SYRIZA. Mitsotakis with Tsipras. He said it very well. So let’s judge and compare. He fucking avoids televised fights with me to make the comparison easier. However, let’s compare. So let’s compare: You, Mr. Mitsotakis, your faction, have ruined the country. You have plunged the economy into a quagmire and society into despair. We brought the country out of bankruptcy. We released her from memorandums and commissions. You left the treasury empty, so we can’t even pay pensions. We delivered them in full. You found them with 37 billion. Thanks to our respect for the latest Euro people. Thanks to our clean hands. And above all, you have robbed society. We have supported a society standing in the midst of a storm.”
