In addition, Mr. Androulakis underlined his amendment PASOK-KINALwhich provides for a maternity benefit for self-employed women, which will be equal to the minimum wage, while he repeated his proposal for a “social housing program, as in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Austria, Germany, with the creation of a reservoir of 150,000 houses, either newly built with the Recovery Fund, or by opening gated houses with tax and redevelopment benefits so that social criteria can be given to new couples at very low rents.”

“The difference between our program and the corresponding New Democracy program is that, unlike the ND, which talks about new ownership by providing low-interest loans, we talk about renting only to promote social mobility and contribute to falling rents in in general and, therefore, not only these 150,000 families will benefit, but also many others,” said the leader of PASOK-KINAL.
