Shchertsos for the “blockade” in the party of Kasidiaris: It was clear who was for democracy

“SYRIZA talks to us about ideas and ideals, but in practice, Mr. Tsipras said that the ND position is wrong and will fall, while his is ideal. Yesterday’s Supreme Court decision shows that the provision SYRIZA will fall,” Minister of State and government spokesman Akis Skertsos said in an interview with SKAI radio on Wednesday morning.

Mister. Schertz he added that in the case of the Kasidiaris party, “it was shown who is with democracy and can defend this good. What did we see? A criminal organization is trying to use loopholes to get into the elections.”

And he added that “the agreement with SYRIZA will go to the Areopagus, and Kasidiaris will solemnly descend. So SYRIZA should go and ask Magda Fissa if she wants the Cassidiaris party back in Parliament.”

According to Mr. Schertzos, the government introduced “two provisions that blocked his attempt to get out, even if he had a figurehead in front of him. We are for a struggling democracy. We said that we would slow down his plans until the last moment.”.

Taking into account universities, Mr. Schertzos emphasized: “I see in SYRIZA that it embraces excellence. These professors, who are leaving with him, work abroad, and some things there are self-evident, but not self-evident for the party with which they decided to work and which wants to change everything,” the government representative said and was perplexed. “Do you agree these professors with the SYRIZA position that students with 1s and 2s go to schools, do they agree with SYRIZA that the police should not enter universities when democracy is being destroyed?”

These contradictions of SYRIZA should be noted, commented a government spokesman.

Finally, Mr. Schertzos referred to SYRIZA’s comments about Irini Agapidakis, who was put in charge of voting on the ND staff.

“I find it funny and insulting at the same time that there are personalities and non-personalities. SYRIZA should go and ask the 7,500 women who have been diagnosed with early stage cancer through Fofi Gennimata from the program organized by Ms. Agapidaki,” he commented.
