SYRIZA deputy Costas Marcos is shocked by the fire that broke out in his house in Patras on the morning of Good Thursday in the Ovria region.

In an interview with thebest.gr, the MP from SYRIZA stated that he was in his house at the time of the fire.

“We caught fire, apparently after a short circuit, at 9 am. We were at home, if we had not immediately realized what had happened, we would now be “in a different place.” I was the first to notice the fire, it was an unprecedented and dramatic experience. There was smoke everywhere, it took time to figure out where the fire started. Firefighters are currently at the home assessing the situation. I want to thank the firefighters Giorgos Kolokotsas and the commander, who arrived immediately and showed professionalism and dedication.”

The fire department received a message about a fire in a building on Theseus Street, and 10 people and 4 cars arrived at the scene.
