Alexis Tsipras has announced the full list of SYRIZA MP candidates for the 2023 national elections.

The lists of candidates were submitted to the Central Committee of SYRIZA. Pavlos Polakis (Chania) and Yiannis Ragussis (2nd Piraeus) are also included in the party’s ballots.

During his speech, the leader of the official opposition, among other things, sharply criticized Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, whom he accused of “Trumpism”.

“We are not going to enter the arena of toxicity and separation, which is what Mr. Mitsotakis ND is aiming for,” he said.

Mr. Tsipras, in his speech to the Central Committee, also touched upon the framework for cooperation in local elections:

“Many municipalities already have processes in place to identify suitable combinations. We control and encourage them. Our goal is to promote victorious votes and broad progressive cooperation, of course, taking into account, of course, local specifics in each specific case.”

Nominations for large municipalities:
