Theory: Violation of Gorky

“Irritated” is an understatement to describe how Deputy Prime Minister Mr. P. Pikramenos feels after the apparent removal of the article on independent authorities from the Interior Ministry bill. And this is because the committed “dirt” was twofold: firstly, he himself formulated it and personally discussed it with the leaders of the Authority without objection. And secondly, the recall was initiated without notice.

Candidate for the South

Nikos Androulakis was recently looking for a place to be a candidate in Athens, with options reportedly between the North and South Sectors. Given that the vote is stronger in the North, I would bet that PASOK’s president will be in the vote in the South, without implying that he will retain this seat as well.

They share ministries

I am staying in PASOK, especially in PASOK Chios, as it has become known to me that the local party secretary, when asked about possible post-election cooperation between New Democracy and PASOK, vetoed the appointment of Mitarakis in immigration policy, noting that a particular minister could not remain on his place, since he, according to him, is part of the problem. However, the head of the PASOK parliamentary group, Michalis Katrinis, has previously given credit to Notis Mitarakis, which means that PASOK has confused their positions a bit.

In favor of partnership

Dimitris Avramopoulos premiered yesterday in Ilya, where he had his first meeting with local journalists. The former minister said, first of all, that he did not want to get into local quarrels, but to talk about the development of the prefecture, even returning to the discussion – difficult to implement – the road connecting Vitina and Ancient Olympia. As for the elections, Avramopoulos predicted a clear victory for the New Democracy, but did not rule out partnerships, which he says he sees as positive, on one condition: Kyriakos Mitsotakis becomes prime minister. After all, he did indeed offer the journalists a generous meal. Among the nice things the former minister mentioned was that he gave away a house he owned in Ilias prefecture and thus chose a hotel in Pyrgos.
