Acceleration of the prosecutor’s investigation in the case of wiretappingthe president PASOK-KINAL, Nikos Androulakis after the meeting they had this morning. In his statements, Mr. Androulakis stressed that the case would not be politically or criminally statute of limitations, and those responsible would be held accountable.

In particular, the President of PASOK-KINAL stated: “I came here today, where the heart of the judiciary beats, and submitted a request to Mr. Eleftherianos to expedite the prosecutor’s investigation into the issue of wiretapping.

This case will have no statute of limitations, either politically or criminally. And let the responsible persons be sure that they will fully assume their responsibilities.

Greece is a country with a strong rule of law. This is a European country, and we have a duty – the entire political system – to prevent our country from being exposed again at the international level by such criminally unacceptable actions at the expense of citizens, at the expense of human rights.”
