Hours after Mitsotakis officially announced the May 21 elections, President PASOK, Nikos Androulakis gave an interview to the SKAI TV channel, answering the question he raised about the “double veto” about the possibility of appointing Tsipras or Mitsotakis as prime minister, as well as the role that PASOK will play the day after the elections.
Recall that Nikos Androulakis in a previous interview set a condition for cooperation that both the current prime minister and the current chairman of the official opposition should not hold the post of prime minister.
“New era of software partnership”
When asked about the face of the prime minister in the cooperation government, the PASOK president replied that “all political leaders are candidates for the post of prime minister.”
“Mitsotakis and Tsipras tell each other that they were bad rulers and dangerous. I agree with them. In the new era, there must be programmatic cooperation and people who will implement it,” Mr. Androulakis emphasized, and then said that he had a “comparative advantage” over them. “I did not rule or destroy the country. Every 15 days we also have a scandal with ND. This will not be my choice. They try to imagine that I will point to the face. No. This needs to be agreed,” President PASOK said.

As for the day after the election, President PASOK was clear, emphasizing that “whoever leads the country to mismanagement in the second election, PASOK will not be on his side.”
Asked about the recent statements and reactions of Andreas Loverdos, Nikos Androulakis said: “The person who said this has already been deleted in the past. We all act according to the rules and based on the point of view of the faction.”
