PASOK is looking for a way to reach out to undecided, discontented, mobile voters, as the first public opinion polls after the Tempe tragedy show that this pool of potential voters is growing and at the same time, the party is not benefiting from it.

Opinion polls record a high percentage of undecided, higher than at any time in the recent past, and at the same time PASOK’s steady stagnation, which in some dimensions even seems to be losing ground compared to previous measurements.

The vital task of the party is to be able to contain any losses and, above all, to become attractive to the circle of the undecided. Stagnation detection is common. Approaches to how you can turn the image around are different in individual groupings of the party.

Nikos Androulakis continues to follow the logic of PASOK’s clear course, emphasizing the features that distinguish him from the two main parties. “Tempe changed the whole political discussion. They have exposed dilemmas that did not exist before, highlighted critical issues of good governance and opened a window of opportunity for us. To highlight common elements between ND and SYRIZA and our own proposal. Talk about tomorrow, about principles and values, and to appeal not only to the voters who know us, but also to the youth, which this particular tragedy has stigmatized even more than the era of memos, ”say his colleagues.

The PASOK leadership group insists no to Mitsotakis and Tsipras and even believes that this position also expresses disapproval of citizens with the policies pursued by the last two governments of the country. At the same time, they believe that public opinion polls put pressure not only on their party, but also on the ND. and SYRIZA, as the prospect of self-sufficiency, which until now seemed to be invested in by the ruling party, is evaporating, and at the same time, SYRIZA is not taking profits. In this light, they believe that PASOK is now more needed as a potential government partner and can therefore achieve the programmatic convergence that Mr. Androulakis has set as a condition for post-election cooperation on better terms.

However, President PASOK insists on the issue of faces and continues to make the removal of Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Tsipras as prime minister a condition of government cooperation.
