“It doesn’t matter where you are”: 4 changes that the bill of the Ministry of Justice is promoting

Draft law of the Ministry of Justice on the “submission of declarations of property” (“Where are you from“) and financial interests”, in accordance with which “the legislative framework for filing declarations of “location” (declarations on property and financial interests)” was reformed and at the same time “the procedure for filing declarations was simplified”.

In particular, one of the proposed provisions of the bill is aimed at eliminating the inconvenience for persons who are obliged to independently collect these declarations, since now they will be available to the inspection body.

In particular, according to the draft law of the Ministry of Justice, the procedure for filing and verifying declarations “Where are you from» are enshrined in simplified and understandable legislation.

In more detail with the proposed provisions of the bill:

• The current fragmented and ultimately difficult to understand legal framework is legally “arranged”, including the current 49 debtor cases in only 13 understandable categories.

• Eliminates anachronistic and unnecessary inconvenience on the part of those responsible for collecting declaration data that is easily accessible to the audit bodies themselves.

• Clear and measurable audit objectives are set for the audit authority by establishing criteria established by the Audit Committee and establishing a minimum percentage (minimum ceiling) of audited cases.

• Multiple instructions and directives from auditors, which result in different auditors and creditors being treated in similar cases, are eliminated through delineation and oversight outside the scope of the audit by one body (ie one body will now give clear instructions and directives to auditors).
