PSD National Council President Vasile Dincu said on Friday at the PSD Sălaj election conference regarding the coalition’s decision to increase pensions that “our yellow friends asked Marius Budai to resign because we want to increase pensions, because after that Zeus will come and say 15 %”, and these issues are not normal for cooperation, writes News.ro. “In the future, we must have our own leader, the Government, which will impose some essential things,” said the ex-Minister of Defense.
“In politics, we have to sacrifice our pride many times, and what PSD has done through this ruling alliance is just such a sacrifice. What will happen in the future will be more difficult. We will have to accept a government this spring. After accepting the government, we will have to return the management of Romania to the vocation that PSD has (…), the development of Romania, because Romania is currently growing, but not developing, and this is the most serious. Because right-wing parties are not interested in social indicators, except with great weight,” said Vasile Dinku.
Vasile Dinku: “In the future, we must have our own leader, a government that will impose some important things”
And he continued: “You remember what a fantastic auction we had, what blockades there are in the current coalition to make a decision on increasing pensions. We found that almost every day our partners and our yellow friends asked Marius Budai to resign because he wanted us to increase our pensions, so that after that Zeus would come and say 15%. These things are not normal for cooperation. In the future, we will have to have our leader, the government, to impose some essential things, which, unfortunately, have not been done now.”
Vasile Dinku clarified that “the reform of the administration did not go further, we forgot about digitalization and digitalization reform in general.” “5G took a long time, we barely had a tender after five years – or six years when Sorin Grindeanu, who was the president of ANCOM, launched it. We also have to do some elements that mean the development of Romania.”
“I am sure that together, all of us, we will be able to correct what we failed to do in this period of overlapping crises,” Dynku also said.
Social Democrat Vasile Dinku resigned in October 2022 from the position of Minister of Defense, citing his inability to cooperate with President Klaus Iohannis.
