In the law on the state budget, the government established monetary quotas for each deputy of the Coalition. Thus, according to HotNews.ro sources, each parliamentarian from the PSD will be able to send 500,000 lei to their constituency, and the liberals – 635,000 lei.
PSD and PNL parliamentarians will submit amendments within the limits of the money promised by the Government. “In this way, each parliamentarian of the Coalition will be able to direct funds to the electoral district he represents, in the amount of no more than 100,000 euros. Most likely, the amendments will be submitted to the Ministry of Development of Villages and Communes,” the cited sources explained.
The same sources claim that the opposition USR and AUR could receive an amount of 60 million lei based on the amendments they will submit.
Last week, the Government approved the budget for 2023. It is built on the target indicator of the budget cash deficit of 4.4% of GDP and the EUS deficit of 4.4% of GDP.
The law on the state budget was discussed by specialized committees in the parliament. According to the established calendar, the parliament will hold the final vote no earlier than December 15.
