The non-profit “Anthonis K. Samaras Foundation” was created with the aim of “systematically studying, researching and popularizing the work of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, preserving historical memory by highlighting the events of modern Greek history, popularizing the European idea and integration, encouraging political and scientific research and their contribution to the development of society and the fulfillment of national and European goals”.

Among other things, its goal is “recording, digitizing and exploiting the personal archive of Antonis Samaras, publishing books and brochures concerning the assessment of the political and historical events of our homeland, as well as the creation of a university department of political science in educational institutions of domestic or foreign.”

Among the Fund’s tasks are still “the study of the national, economic, political and cultural problems of the country and the formulation, processing and presentation of proposals on them.”

The Foundation is independent of the active presence of former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras in the political life of our country.
