In an appeal to European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) PASOK’s president has taken on the case of wiretapping his phone Nikos Androulakis.

The appeal was filed the day before yesterday and follows his actions towards the Greek authorities. Mr Androulakis informs the Strasbourg-based European Judiciary that, although he is being monitored by EYP In one quarter of 2021, the Prime Minister himself confessed, to date he has not been given the opportunity to either be formally informed of the reasons for the order to “attach” him, or to initiate any proceedings in court or before Parliament to characterize the linkage this illegal.

He called for surveillance of his phone. The goal, according to X. Trikoupis, is to establish strict rules in Greece and Europe.

Based on these facts, Mr. Androulakis claims in his appeal that his right to an “effective remedy” (an effective remedy) guaranteed by Article 13 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) has been violated. In fact, the PASOK President emphasizes that neither the current legislation nor the bill submitted by the government provides for the rudimentary effective legal aid for this purpose, which, he argues, the ECtHR has unequivocally condemned in a number of its decisions over the years.

According to PASOK, with his appeal, the chairman of the party seeks the introduction in Greece and in Europe in general of strict rules that ensure everyone’s privacy and freedom of communication.

Mr. Androulakis has previously stated his intention to appeal to the ECtHR, and his colleagues emphasize that the appeal is part of his decision to exhaust all legal means to claim that he will receive answers for spying on him, that those responsible will be identified and punished, but steps will also be taken to create a substantial and functional framework that will prevent the abuse of the power of modern technology to the detriment of individual freedoms and rights.
