Androulakis: Attack on Mitsotakis and Tsipras of Rethymno

Attacking New Democracy and SYRIZA, stating that “the Greek people do not deserve to live with Mr. Tsipras and live with Mr. Mitsotakis,” PASOK-KINAL President Nikos Androulakis spoke at the Conservatory of the old town of Rethymno.

Mr. Androulakis cited a “special motivation”, he said, before the national elections, which is to strengthen the faction in order to “show the Greek people that there is a different perspective, there is a desire not for chairs, but for a better tomorrow”, adding, that “at some point, the light fairy tale, terrorism, that if Mitsotakis does not exist, Tsipras will come” and that PASOK-KINAL “will prove that the country does not need either Mitsotakis or Tsipras, because the Greek people have seen, learned and knows.”

The President of PASOK-KINAL referred to the wiretapping and discussion of the bill next week, stressing that “a prime minister who wants to correct his mistake passes the law properly, and does not say to the leader of the third party: ‘Come in three years and we will inform to you “”.

Nikos Androulakis stated that PASOK-KINAL is a patriotic party, stating that “patriotism for us means not only love for the country, but knowledge of international balances and ratios so that we can make appropriate decisions for our national interests.” Attacking SYRIZA, he said that “populism does not fit into national issues” and that “when it was time for the motherland, we voted ‘yes’ to the agreement with France and the strengthening of the country’s deterrent forces. We are not the ones who, being in the Government, go to the White House and take pictures with Trump, negotiate with the Americans about armaments with Kameno, and when we become opposition, we forget everything and keep a sterile negative attitude in Parliament.”

“We are not SYRIZA, as Mr. Mitsotakis boldly declared on August 28, when I exposed the wiretapping scandal – so that the entire Greek people could see the face, the semi-state actions of Megaros Maximos – and instead of giving an answer to what EYP did with the Pretadors, Parliament had to say that we are doing everything to find an agreement with SYRIZA. He would really like to, but I will not do him any favors, because we did not get involved to sort things out with either SYRIZA or ND, we got involved in cases to regenerate the faction of the Democratic Party and PASOK of Andreas Papandreou, “- he said, Mr. Androulakis.

In his speech, the President of PASOK-KINAL also referred to the Secondary Care Bill, specifying that “decades after the reform carried out by Giorgos Gennimatas and Paraskevas Avgerinos, no one has dared to directly undermine the public character of the National Health Service.” , adding that despite the problems that the National Health System has, even after the pandemic, there must be a public dialogue. However, according to him, the prime minister “is privatizing health care and making citizens live in greater danger, knowing full well that the big problem of shortage of personnel will worsen in the coming years.”

“A prime minister who behaves like this after the pandemic shows what his real agenda is, that they are ideologically hostile to the state – not to any state – they used state surveillance perfectly, they are hostile to the welfare state, the one that they defended. social democracy and what is needed today to reduce inequalities and provide opportunities for all Greek men and women,” added Mr. Androulakis.

The President of PASOK-KINAL said that thanks to the government’s response in the midst of the energy crisis and unprecedented precision, “the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer.” He added that when it comes to banks, “there is the biggest difference between the deposit rate and the average mortgage rate,” suggesting the country should do what Spain did when it imposed an emergency levy on bank profits “to get the message that otherwise, they cannot profit at the expense of our people when they live in extreme poverty.”

Regarding the auctions, Nikos Androulakis stated that “PASOK, at the most difficult moment of negotiations, when ND Karamanlis left behind bankrupt Greece, negotiated and managed to protect the main residence of the Greeks. Mr. Tsipras, with his many and bold words, was able to convey the red credits of the Greeks to the fans without the framework of transparency and meritocracy, and Mr. Mitsotakis went even further. He almost completely abolished the defenses of the first house of the Greeks, and today both shed crocodile tears.”

Nikos Androulakis added that “the ridicule has short legs” and that “it’s all, in the energy crisis, in the NSS, in wiretapping, in Democracy and in the institutions, the election fund is coming, and there the ND should get a big message, bye.”

Regarding the primary sector, the president of PASOK-KINAL stated that “in addition to the ceiling for the retail and energy communities, which is a long-term policy option, we believe there should be bold subsidies for animal feed, fertilizers and pesticides and, of course, reducing the excise tax on diesel, and we also consider it important to have policies that link quality tourism to the primary sector,” while he also mentioned the need to support young couples under the burden of a demographic problem. .

“The pandemic and the energy crisis have increased the cost of living and housing,” said Nikos Androulakis, who echoed PASOK-KINAL’s suggestion, noting that with New Democracy it’s a different culture.

“We are not saying that they should take out loans to buy a house, we are saying that the state should give tax breaks, open closed houses, renovate them according to European programs and oblige their owners – with low ENFIA – to rent houses into long-term social housing programs, who can rent new couples and when they exceed the social criteria, these social houses will be taken over by other new couples,” said Mr. the people give us power in the next parliamentary elections so that PASOK-KINAL has power and imposes its values as a government program, not hidden deals”, adding that “the democratic faction will be on the winning side in the next national elections, and I am sure that PASOK will be the only party in Greece whose membership will increase significantly its bones when our political opponents go the back of the Greek people compared to the percentages they had in the 2019 elections.”

Finally, Nikos Androulakis said that with regard to the national elections, “the dilemma is simple. It is clear that this is not Tsipras or Mitsotakis, but the democratic overthrow of tomorrow or the tolerance of the regime and the clientelist mentality that both used.”
