On the Syrian front, the Turkish armed forces have almost completed preparations for a ground operation and are only waiting for President Erdogan’s decision, two senior Turkish officials told Reuters. According to the Cumhuriyet newspaper, seven Turkish soldiers have been killed on the neighboring country’s border with Syria in the past two days.
