EU condemnation

As the representative of the EU noted, “this decision, which is awaiting ratification by the members of the Organization, is regrettable and contradicts the fact that several members of the organization have expressed strong support for the principle of territorial integrity and the Charter of the United Nations.” . He also added that EE has repeatedly made it clear, including at the highest political level, that it recognizes only the Republic of Cyprus as a subject of international law in accordance with the relevant decisions of the UN Security Council.
