Among other things, the concepts of “retransmission” and “controlled environment” are introduced, the definition of “cable retransmission” is modified in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/789 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019, and the exercise of retransmission rights by both broadcasters and other beneficiaries.
Directive (EU) 2019/790 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 on intellectual property and related rights in the digital single market has also been incorporated into Greek law.
In addition, Directive 2006/115/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2006 “on the right to lease, the right to borrow and certain rights relating to intellectual property in the field of intellectual products” has been incorporated into Greek. legislation.
