He expressed his satisfaction Prime Minister for our country’s upward progress in the business environment rankings, as recorded in a report by the EIU (Economist Intelligence Unit), which is the research and analysis department of the Economist Group.

According to the EIU ranking, Greece is in first place with an upward trend with 16 points, while the second country is Qatar with 11 points.

The Prime Minister, in an English-language tweet, said:

“It is very gratifying to see the recognition of our efforts to reform the economy. We believe in turning Greece into a business-friendly country that will attract additional foreign investment. While much remains to be done, Greece is on the right track.”
