
The President of Ukraine appealed to the international community to not be ashamed to say “no” and continue to defend themselves from evil Vladimir Zelenskywhich was honored by the Oxi Day Foundation in Washington, D.C. on the occasion of its anniversary. 28 of October.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova received an award on Zelensky’s behalf from White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan, in his speech to prominent figures in the Greek American community and members of the US government, referred to the unprecedented courage of the Ukrainian people and Russia’s unwarranted and unprovoked war.
He pledged that the US will continue to support Ukraine in every possible way, and detailed what has been achieved to date on the battlefield with the defense contribution of the grand coalition, as well as at the level of sanctions.
Mr. Sullivan referred to the famous Fidonisi incident early in the war, describing the Ukrainian forces’ reaction to the Russian ultimatum as “we won’t give up, no.”
Iranian Journalist Award
Founded by the renowned Manatos family, the Oxi Day Foundation has been honoring contemporary fighters for freedom, human rights, religious freedom, democracy and the rule of law for the 12th consecutive year.
The OXI Courage award went to Iranian journalist and activist Masih Alinejad, who lives in exile in the United States, is being persecuted by the Iranian regime and is one of the faces of the protests that have swept the country for the 100th week.

This year’s award, presented at the Peace Institute in Washington DC, brought Greece to international attention for another year by highlighting the universal dimension of Greek bravery, expressed through “No”.
As the initiator of the creation of the Fund states, “we are making sure that the Greek national holiday turns into an event of a global scale, and that the history of Greece is at the center of American interests.”
