
“Greek society is facing an unprecedented challenge, it’s funny that Turkey for provocative statements at a time when we are repeating what the Turks are saying,” Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said, adding that: “Not a single Greek has formulated the slightest thing as a challenge to Turkey.”

Greece has done its best, but no government is going to turn Greece into a vassal, according to Mr. Dendias, who pointed out that Turkey must itself desire its own European perspective and show it through its actions. “This is our one-sided, non-negotiable privilege,” he stressed and noted that we will not do this as a reaction to someone else’s move.
