Mr. Dendias reaffirmed Greece’s unwavering support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as all countries, and reaffirmed that Greece will continue to support Ukraine and the Greek community of Ukraine.

In fact, Mr. Dendias and Mr. Kuleba were forced to go into hiding along with the Greek delegation, as sirens sounded during the meeting.

At the beginning of his visit to Kyiv, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met at the Greek Embassy with the chairperson of the Greece-Ukraine Friendship Group in the Ukrainian Parliament, Tatiana Plachkova, the rector of Mariupol State University, Mykola Trofimenko, and Chargé d’Affaires of the Cypriot Embassy, ​​Lina Themistocleous.

Parliamentary diplomacy, Greek-Ukrainian relations, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the European Union, academic issues and the Greek diaspora were on the agenda, according to a related Twitter post from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr. Dendias fully condemned revisionism. He also thanked Ms. Themistocleous for her contribution to the repatriation operations from Ukraine, including Greek citizens and expatriates.
