
Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos met with the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg at the Alliance’s headquarters in Brussels on the sidelines of the Summit of Competent Ministers.
The meeting lasted 22 minutes and discussed issues of security and peace.
According to government sources, Mr. Panagiotopoulos stressed Greece’s help in the war in Ukraine and denounced any revisionism that causes destabilization in Europe.
Regarding a possible meeting between the Greek minister and his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar, the information indicates an intention from the Turkish side, but the Greek side has not yet confirmed this.
