
Request for the immediate convening of the Parliamentary Committee on Institutions and Transparency in connection with the discovery of additional facts in the case monitoring politicians, testified the PASOK-KINAL parliamentary group, with the first signatories being Mr. H. Castanidis and Mr. M. Katrini.
As they state in their respective letter to the chairman of the committee, Ath. Burasu, “in the case of surveillance of politicians and journalists, additional elements arise (for example, the complaint of Christos Spircis), which are not the subject of the Committee’s work. The Investigative Committee, established in accordance with the decision of the Plenum of the Greek Parliament of 29.08.2022.”
They also demand “the immediate convening of the Committee on Institutions and Transparency, before which we propose to call for a hearing all the persons mentioned in the already published and submitted statements of the parliamentary groups SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance and the Communist Party of Greece.” .
