
“Yesterday, an application was submitted to ADAE by the President of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, requesting:
one) Provide a full copy of the monitoring file to be retrieved by the Authority’s control team during the controls carried out at EYP and immediately after it is received by ADAE.
2) Provide a copy of the communication received by the Office containing the full text of the order to declassify Mr. Androulakis’ communications, as well as the relevant correspondence contained in the file of the prosecutor’s orders to declassify communications, in accordance with Article 5 para 4 of Law 2225/1994 (if applicable), of which, in accordance with the above provision, the President of ADAE informs “in any case” the leaders of the parties represented in Parliament, such as PASOK-Movement for a Change in this case.
The refusal of the former and current commander of the EMP, as well as the former General Secretary of the Prime Minister, to provide information to Parliament represents an unprecedented situation to the detriment of the rights of the President of PASOK, the statement said. – A movement for change in which he is not told why he is being monitored in order to fully exercise his rights against all criminal, disciplinary and civil authorities. Also, he cannot defend himself in the face of government or other leaks of non-existent rumors.”
