The President of SYRIZA-PS sent a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament, Alexis Tsipraswith which he asks for an extraordinary convening of the Ad Hoc Standing Committee on Institutions and Transparency after what he notes is a rapid development with monitoring.
As mentioned by Al. Tsipras, in his letter, the purpose of the extraordinary meeting will be “to summon EYP Governor Mr. Demiris, EYP Attorney Ms. Vlahou and ADAE President Mr. Rammos to hearings.”
“The iceberg of cases of surveillance of political opponents of the prime minister is just beginning to unravel in full. In fact, the method of sending intercepted links (links) through the Predator spyware seems to have been repeated more times than those we have known so far,” Alexis Tsipras emphasizes in her letter.
Referring to today’s complaints by the head of the Citizens Protection and Civil Protection Service, Christos Spircis, he notes that “he discovered that in November 2021, within a few days, he also received two messages on his mobile phone with a malicious link, one of which was completely the same as the one that quite recently, in exactly the same way, was adopted by Messrs. Koukakis and Androulakis.
“The questions that arise are pitiless, in particular, whether the head of SYRIZA and former minister Christos Spircis, like Mr. Androulakis and Mr. Koukakis, was placed under the supervision of the EPM, and if so, for what reason,” emphasizes the leader of the official opposition .
