Petition to the Prosecutor of the Supreme Courttestified on Friday morning SYRIZA MP and former minister Christos Spirtzisas he mentioned in his statements, an attempt was made to intercept his mobile phone using the Predator software.in November 2021
Mr. Spircis’ statement came after the meeting of the SYRIZA-PS delegation this morning with the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Isidoros Dogiakos, regarding the wiretapping case.
At his installation leaving Areio Pago, Chr. Spircis specified that he received “two SMS with infected messages, links to block his mobile phone using the Predator software.”
“The attempt to intercept my mobile phone is related to my political activities, to my institutional capacity as head of the Citizens Protection Division in charge of the National Intelligence Service,” he said, referring to a statement he released in November. 13 under the heading: “Mitsotakis registers you and monitors you,” based on an EfSyn publication that he said “revealed” surveillance orders for journalists, lawyers, and even underage refugee children.
Two days later, on November 15, 2021, he said, he sent an urgent question to the head of the national intelligence service in accordance with the law on the “full-time staff”, as he commented, and issued a second ad, again entitled “Mitsotakis watch” and based on the second EfSyn publications.
In this context Chr. Spircis complained that on the same day he received a “predator trap message” on his mobile phone with an “infected” link, and four days later received a second message to trap his mobile phone. “It shows that some people really wanted to know what journalists, what citizens I was talking to, and obviously my conversations with SYRIZA President Alexis Tsipras about the National Intelligence Service and the revelations that were made in those days,” Khr said. . . Spirtzis, pointing out that the second message he received was the same one sent to Thanasis Koukakis and Nikos Androulakis, showing, he claimed, “these were not isolated sightings.”
“Three messages were sent by the same sick, sickly, anti-democratic and illegal center, and that center is KYP Mitsotakis, either directly or on their order from third parties,” Mr. Spirtzis said, and publicly asked a series of questions:
“Mr. Mitsotakis, did you listen to my conversations with SYRIZA President Alexis Tsipras? Did you hear the thoughts, reflections, tactics that we followed? Did you hear and see the meetings we had in my office? Have you listened to my conversations with other heads of SYRIZA departments and deputies? Have you read the messages exchanged between heads of departments and deputies of SYRIZA with each other or with SYRIZA President Alexis Tsipras? Did you watch – why do you have an image – the meetings that we held in our party? Have you followed our meetings or communication with journalists or deputies from other parties? Have you watched my conversations with my family, with my children, with my parents, with my people? Mr. Mitsotakis, how many other parliamentarians, how many other politicians, how many other businessmen, journalists and citizens have you followed?”
And Mr. Spirtzis concluded, “We didn’t deserve this. The Greek people do not deserve, after so many years of struggle on the left of the progressive space of the democratic world, after so many efforts of prime ministers, ministers and parliamentarians from across the political spectrum, we do not deserve to experience the dark period of the Mitsotakis regime, which recalls the darkest moments of our political history . We will not leave the situation of the Mitsotakis regime as it is. We will restore democracy to our country by overthrowing the Mitsotakis regime. We will not allow our children to live under a regime that does not respect the Constitution, individual democratic rights, European and international treaties to protect the rights of every citizen, every person and, above all, our Republic, pulling the country.”
