
PASOK – Movement for Change brings to the attention of Parliament “the lack of an electronic record of surveillance provisions in the Office of Communications Privacy.”
With a question to the Minister of Digital Governance Kyriakos Pierrakakis and Minister of Justice Konstantinos Tsiare, signed by the head of the KO Michalis Katrinis, the secretary of the KO Evangelia Liakoulis, MP and member of the Institutions and Transparency Committee Haris Kastanidis, representatives of Parliament Kostas Skandalidis and Nadia Giannakopoulos, head of the Parliamentary Sector of Digital Governance Ilhan Ahmet and Parliamentary Vice President Odysseas Konstantinopoulos “point to press reports according to which the ADAE, as part of its investigation, contacted the mobile phone provider contracted for Mr. using the EYP court hearing system because ADAE maintains a handwritten file, so it cannot be accessed in a timely manner.”
According to the interviewers, “The Department, according to the same journalistic information, decided to create and maintain an electronic file of monitoring regulations, but this was not done, because it is under consideration by the MLA, which must be signed by the competent Minister of Digital Management, K. Pierrakakis.”
